From Portland, the drive is approximately 1 hr. & 45 min. via Hwy 26 to OR 6 follow signs to Tillamook, then North on Hwy 101 to Rockaway Beach.

• Right in the middle of Rockaway Beach near the wayside, train depot and St. Mary's by the Sea Catholic Church.
• A 10-15 minute ride by car will put you in Manzanita or Tillamook.
• 5 minutes by car gets you on the docks at either Garibaldi or on the Nehalem River.
• 5 minutes on foot places you at either of two trout stocked lakes.
• A 1 minute stroll lands you in the middle of a shopping and restaurant district.
• 30 barefoot seconds out the back will put your toes in the pleasantly cool Pacific Ocean.
